Every room on campus is identified by a unique four digit code (possibly 5 - with A/B if a room has been split into two), like A001 or C001A

The first digit is the building code:

  • A = Annex/Executive Offices
  • C = Courtyard/Library building
  • S = Stable block/Reception
  • M = Masfield/Workshop
  • = Rose Theatre
  • B = Barn Theatre
  • L = Lamorbey House
  • W = Student Services/Coach House
  • D = Dalo building/Bru Bar/Café
  • P = Porta Cabin

The second digit represents the floor:

  • 0 = ground floor
  • 1 = first floor
  • 2 = second floor
  • B = basement

The third and fourth digit represent the room number, which may have a fifth digit a/b if a room can our is split further

So,

  • C107 is in the courtyard building on the first floor and is room 07 - which is the IT room
  • W003 is in student services building on the ground floor and is room 03 - which is the student services reception area
  • S003 is in the stable block building on the ground floor and is room 03 - which is a stage management office
  • L113 is in Lamorbey house on the first floor and is room 13 - which is Finance department
  • C001a is in the courtyard building on the ground floor and is room 01 which is subdivided into A and B - this is area A of the rehearsal room opposite the studios

Here is a map outlining each building code:
